Our Captains are committed to providing you and your group with a safe, comfortable and productive deep sea fishing charter.  All of our Captains are experienced Freeport Texas fishing guides with years of successful deep sea charters. They navigate and fish in a safe, productive manner and, upon return, they assist with photos and fish cleaning at no additional charge.

Capt Marshall Booker 

Capt. Marshall is an avid fisherman, surfer, and outdoorsman. Salt runs in his veins. He was fishing when he was still in diapers and began his offshore fishing career as a deckhand for his father at the young age of 8 years old. He is highly experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled. He now has 24 years of experience fishing the waters offshore of Freeport, TX with no plans to quit any time soon. Marshall's true passion is not just for fishing, but for seeing the joy and excitement on his customers' faces. His favorite thing to hear on any charter is, "that's the biggest fish I've ever caught in my life!" Safety and satisfaction are his primary goals and he enjoys fishing with salty veterans and beginners alike- including families and kids. Marshall has never been satisfied with simply "good" catches. He insists on exceptional catches and strives to make every trip just that- exceptional. From sand trout to swordfish, he can catch 'em all while ensuring your fishing trip will be memorable for years to come. His combination of knowledge and drive to exceed his clients' expectations result in catches that rival those of any boat in our area and his attentive approach to customer service is second to none.

Capt Jeb Bennett

A native of The Cowboy Capital of the World-Stephenville, TX, Captain  Jeb started chasing thrills as a child, in the form of rodeo. As an  amateur and then professional bullrider, Jeb had the opportunity to see  many parts of the world. Always an avid outdoorsman, he has been drawn  to all types of waters: oceans, lakes and rivers. At the end of his  rodeo career, Captain Jeb needed an outlet for his fascination with the  outdoors. Because of his love for water, fishing came naturally to him  from a very young age. Beginning with fishing in freshwater ponds and  rivers, he eventually honed and applied those same skills to salt water.  Ultimately, he fell in love with fishing the ocean and is now able to  combine his career and lifelong passion!
After experiencing first hand so many awesome things that only come from  spending countless hours on the water, from shallow back bays and  marshes to the depths offshore- it’s become his pleasure to share with  others of all ages and experience levels a game he enjoys in an “office”  he appreciates greatly! 

Capt Derwyn Booker 

Derwyn has fished all his life. He began deep sea fishing in the early 90s and was immediately hooked on the excitement of the deep blue seas and huge fish. His career as a captain began in the mid 90s and in 2005 Capt Derwyn bought a commercial reef fish license and added commercial fishing to his resume.  Capt Derwyn has owned and operated a number of boats like a 30 Rampage Sportsfisher, 28 Ft True World, 26 Ft Everglades, 33 ft World Cat, 23 Ft Hydrasport Bay Bolt, and of course, his current boat; the Glacier Bay Ocean Runner.  He knows countless great fishing spots on the Gulf of Mexico including many unpublished hot spots. However, Derwyn’s passion for the outdoors extends far beyond deep sea fishing. You may bump into him on Sam Rayburn Lake fishing for bass or white perch (crappie) or trot lining catfish. Other times, you may find his truck in a parking lot on an Arkansas River because fly fishing is now his #1 favorite fishing activity.  He can also be found on one of the local public hunting areas chasing ducks and geese and he has been a waterfowler since the early 60s. He even owned and operated a waterfowl outfitting business in Saskatchewan CAN from 2008 thru 2017. Additionally, his stellar work ethic and enthusiasm for the outdoors led him to establish an online retail store called Texas Fowlers in 1998 which he operated for 22 years until he sold it in June 2020. You will find the same Texas Fowlers operating with its new owner in Katy, TX.  Now that he has successfully divested himself of the outfitting and retailing businesses, he devotes 100% of his business attention to Texas Deep Sea Fishing Charters and commercial fishing.
