Our 5 - 6 hour red snapper trip targets sow red snapper, over 15 pounds, the most sought after fish in the Gulf of Mexico. A nice trip for the fishers that want a little less effort but a good opportunity for limits of delicious red snapper. As time allows we will also pursue any other fish that your group desires.
Trip Specifics
Range – 30 miles from jetty depending on fish activity and weather. Wrecks, reefs and special spots for red snapper as well as chumming, drifting, weedlines and shrimp boats. Bottom fishing and trolling.
Time – 5 1/2 hours
Target Species – Red snapper as well as other snapper, cobia, king mackerel, mahi and shark. A finish in Texas waters may include red drum, blacktip shark and gafttop catfish.

A popular trip for fishers that want to spend the day on the water pursuing a record catch. Our deep sea trip runs 12 months per year and we adjust our permitting to give you the best opportunity to retain red snapper all 12 months. This trip usually runs in both Federal and Texas state waters. Our boat is licensed to comply with both and we manage our permits to give our fishers the highest probability of success.

Seasonal Trip - Spring & Fall
7 miles from jetty. Chum line to get the frenzy going is the basic strategy for this trip. At anchor or drifting. Our target will be trophy red drum, gafttop catfish, and shark. Your license should include the saltwater stamp and the red drum tag.
Our half day trip is a good choice for the fishers that want to get out on the Gulf for some big fish action, but have a limited budget or schedule. The trip features the most fishing for the time spent riding and has frequently produced some of the largest catches we have ever landed.

This trip is specifically targets the frequently fantastic winter red snapper fishing in Texas waters. The fishing can be excellent. Sometimes a 9 am departure allows a little extra time for the morning to warm yet returns us to dock by 3 pm for the most comfortable trip in this season. Both early and late in the season we catch numerous shark as well as the general available large red drum. And, while waters are warm we sometimes fish for king mackerel as mahi on this trip.
Trip Specifics
Range – 20 miles from jetty depending on fish activity and weather
Time – 6 or 8 hours (Oct thru May)
Target Species – Red snapper and red drum up to 20 lbs, gulf trout, galftop catfish, black drum, and perhaps when water warms or before it cools king mackerel, ling and shark.

Aug 5 thru Nov 1 (weekdays)
This trip is 100% Texas Waters trip targeting big, strong sharks. Especially the local favorite blacktip shark that fight with long, fast, powerful runs; acrobatic leaps up to 10 ft high and then deep diving, drag taking pulls that can go for hours. You can also expect spinner sharks, bull sharks, bonnet head shark, sharp-nose shark and the occasional hammerhead. NOTE: Sharks produce very limited offspring and we suggest catch and release but if grilled shark steak is on your menu, we will fillet and bag
Chumming while anchored or drifting is the go to technique but you may target shrimp boats, large bait pods, diving birds or even weedlines.
As of Mar 2024 our insurer will no longer allow sharks on board the boats. Shark fishing will be catch and release until further notice.
Trip Specifics Range – End of jetty to 9 miles out Time – 4 - 5 hours Target Fishes –Shark (targeted) and at your request King Mackerel, red drum (including bull reds), gaftop catfish, and perhaps cobia (ling).
