First – A Texas Fishing License with a Saltwater Stamp is required by every fishing passenger 17 years of age or older. Many of our trips include fishing in Texas waters and the possibility of landing trophy red drum. Your license must include a red drum tag to retain this fish. Our goal on every deep sea fishing trip is to provide our customers with a safe, pleasurable, and productive offshore fishing charter. And, after over 25 years of running fishing charters on the Gulf of Mexico, we have learned that more fishing and less riding produces the best catch and the monster trophies of your dreams. Here is what you can expect:
Seasonal May 1 thru Oct 31
Our ultimate deep sea fishing experience. 10 hrs on the water and out to 60 miles. Go deep for blue water and the trophy fishes that prefer the consistent temperature and salinity that only deep water can provide. This trip is your best chance at amberjack (open season permitting) and mahi mahi.
Range - 60 miles from the jetty depending on fish activity and weather. Fishing wrecks, rocks and other structure as well as weedlines, shrimp boats with bottom fishing, trolling and drifting.
Time - 10 hrs
Target species - Subject to open season: red snapper, amberjack, other snapper, mahi mahi, wahoo, king mackerel, shark, various grouper species and other fishes.
Depart 7 am return 5 pm
Trip Runs June thru Aug
Our 5 1/2 hour snapper trip targets sow red snapper, over 15 pounds, the most sought after fish in the Gulf of Mexico. A nice trip for the fishers that want a little less effort but a good opportunity for limits of delicious red snapper. As time allows we will also pursue any other fish that your group desires.
Range – 30 miles from jetty depending on fish activity and weather. Wrecks, reefs and special spots for red snapper as well as chumming, drifting, weedlines and shrimp boats. Bottom fishing and trolling.
Time – 5 1/2 hours
Target Species – Red snapper as well as other snapper, cobia, king mackerel, mahi and shark. A finish in Texas waters may include red drum, blacktip shark and gafttop catfish.
Departs 6 am or 1 pm
Trip Runs 12 Months
A popular trip for fishers that want to spend the day on the water pursuing a record catch. Our deep sea trip runs 12 months per year and we adjust our permitting to give you the best opportunity to retain red snapper all 12 months. This trip usually runs in both Federal and Texas state waters. Our boat is licensed to comply with both and we manage our permits to give our fishers the highest probability of success.
Range – To 45 miles from the jetty depending on current fish activity and weather, May include bottom fishing, reefs, wrecks, rigs, weedlines, drifing, chumming and/or trolling
Time – Up to 8 hours
Target fishes – Subject to seasonal closures red snapper, AJs. king mackeral, cobia (ling), mahi mahi, numerous shark species and perhaps wahoo & Texas waters red drum, gaftop catfish, & sharks
Departs 7 am return 3 pm
Seasonal Trip - Nov thru Mar
Our half day trip is a good choice for the fishers that want to get out on the Gulf for some big fish action, but have a limited budget or schedule. The trip features the most fishing for the time spent riding and has frequently produced some of the largest catches we have ever landed.
Range – 3 miles from jetty. Anchor down and a chum line to get the frenzy going are the basic strategy for this trip. Our target will be trophy red drum, gafttop catfish, small shark and sometimes red snapper. Your license should inlcude the saltwater stamp and the red drum tag.
Time – 4 hours
Target Species – Red drum, blacktip shark, gafttop catfish and possibly red snapper.
Departs 7 am or 1 pm
Seasonal Trip - Nov 1 thru Mar
This trip is specifically targets the frequently fantastic winter red snapper fishing in Texas waters. The fishing can be excellent and we adjust our permitting to take advantage of this opportunity. And, it is a better fit for the shorter, cooler days of late Fall and Winter along the Texas coast. The 9 am departure allows a little extra time for the morning to warm yet returns us to dock by 3 pm for the most comfortable trip in this season.
Range – 20 miles from jetty depending on fish activity and weather
Time – 6 hours (Nov thru Mar)
Target Species – Red snapper up to 20 lbs, red drum, gulf trout, galftop catfish, black drum, and perhaps when water warms or before it cools king mackerel, ling and shark.

Aug 5 thru Nov 1
This trip is 100% Texas Waters trip. The primary target is big, strong sharks and the Texas regulations on shark fishing are for more liberal than Fed waters. Especially the local favorite blacktip shark. Blacktips are a favorite because they fight with long, fast, powerful runs; acrobatic leaps up to 10 ft high and then deep diving, drag taking pulls that can go for hours. You can also expect spinner sharks, bull sharks, bonnethead shark, sharpnose shark and the occasional hammerhead. Chumming while anchored or drifting is the go to technique but you may target shrimp boats, large bait pods, diving birds or even weedlines.
